Kunal Jaisingh is now a married man. The Ishqbaaaz actor wed his longtime girlfriend, Bharati Kumar, in an intimate ceremony yesterday at Sun-N-Sand, Juhu. The couple hosted a wedding reception for relatives and friends following the ceremony. A number of videos from the newlyweds’ pheras and their reception are doing the rounds of social media. The two opted for a beachside wedding. In one of the clips, we see Kunal’s friends cheering him on as he takes pheras with Bharati. In another, the newlywed couple is greeted by Nakuul Mehta, who is very close to the groom.

Kunal and Bharati met on the sets of The Buddy Project and fell in love. They dated for 5 years before deciding to take their relationship to the next level. Talking about how they fell in love, the actor had told Bombay Times, “We were friends to begin with, love happened organically. During the shoot, it was a routine for some of us co-actors to leave for the set together. We spent so much time together that two years after we stopped shooting for it, we started missing each other. That’s when I realised that our relationship is beyond just friendship. The only question was if we were on the same page, as there was no official proposal. One day, I took Bharati out for dinner and asked her if we felt the same way about each other. She replied, ‘Yes’.”
